I am so blessed to be in Brasil and surrounded by the greatest people! I could not have asked for a better district or ward or mission president! Honestly, God blesses us with the best of the best!
This week was a little rocky and a bunch of our compromisses and investigators caiu. So, after lunch we were walking down the street and Sister Oliveria realizes that my calfs are green. There were literally green strips, of who knows what, on my calfs?! We blamed it on Rafeel the cat, who lives at the persons house we had lunch at. So after we are making a contact with this nice guy and Sister Oliveria calls him Rafeel, and I just bust up. Yikes, but he didnt say anything and was super nice!
We visited Irmo Campos this week and he told me that his ex-wife, who I have met 2 times, said that I am super beautiful and she wants me to marry her son! I literally dont talk a whole lot, but the people here are just so accepting of me and the fact that Im from the U.S.
Our washing machine broke this week, so we got our bag of laundry and went over to Irma Terezina, who is basically our neighbor! She moved this past week and now she can wave to us through her apartment window and we see her! But she made us bala de chuva as we did our laundry.
A less active member, who I havent met, was at church yesterday! He said it was because I waved to him a couple days ago, and so he figuered he would go to church! Its the small and simple things!
